Journal Review Project 2007

It has been about 10 years since Vassar’s last journal review. In the intervening years, our faculty and curriculum have changed greatly, so it is time for a thorough review of our ongoing journal and database subscriptions. While rapidly-rising journal costs are a major factor in our review, we do not want financial considerations to drive this process any more than is necessary; rather, we want the process to focus on our scholarly priorities. Which journals are most important for our work and which titles have become less necessary over time?
